Richard Carman is the author of Robert Smith: The Cure & Wishful Thinking (also on I.M.P.) and has contributed to over a dozen music books, including subjects such as The White Stripes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shaun Ryder and Dave Grohl. He is also an acclaimed television artist, most notably on BBC’s Restoration and as a finalist on Watercolour Challenge!  He was brought up in and currently lives near Manchester with his family, a pet gecko, two dogs and a guinea pig called David.
